Massimo Cellino has beaten Leeds United to promotion.

Massimo Cellino has beaten current Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani to the punch by winning promotion with Brescia.
Cellino became Leeds owner in January 2014, overseeing a turbulent three and a half seasons at the club.
He eventually sold the club to Andrea Radrizzani in 2017.
After his spell at Leeds, Cellino took over down and out Serie B side Brescia.
His first season in charge at Brescia was predictably chaotic, involving three managerial changes, finishing down in 16th place.
It was a finish similar to his Leeds stints, and it seemed Cellino was out of luck again. New league, same results.

This season has been a refreshing change.
Cellino’s Brescia clinched promotion to Serie A last night, with a 1-0 win over Ascoli.
Brescia have gone from 16th to 1st, an even better turn around than Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa.
While Radrizzani is still clinging onto hope that Leeds can win promotion through the play-offs, Cellino has wrapped up success already, and will be celebrating away.
