Haidara has played just twice for Newcastle this season, with Rafael Benitez seemingly having doubts over using the full back.
Although Haidara has been out with injury for much of the campaign, he has not got much of a look in when fit.
And Haidara admits that he is not enjoying his role of watching on from the sidelines.
“Mentally it can be hard. I am frustrated,” Haidara said.
“Every player would be the same.
“I am a little bit disappointed with this season because every player wants to play in the first-team.
“When you are not frustrated at not playing there must be something wrong.”
Haidara’s words plunge his future in to doubt, ahead of the summer transfer window.
Benitez is said to be keen to keep the bulk of his Newcastle team together (Chronicle), but Haidara may find himself up for sale.
Haidara has been at Newcastle since 2013, but never managed to hold down a place in their first-team.
Newcastle are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Wigan Athletic, but Haidara is likely to miss out once again.
