Chelsea star Mason Mount has praised Leicester City attacking midfielder James Maddison on Instagram for his performance against Liverpool.
Maddison helped Leicester to a 3-1 win against Liverpool at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder scored the first goal for the Foxes from a free kick.
The England international did not have the best of times in the first half against Liverpool, but he improved after the break and started to make things happen for Brendan Rodgers’s side.
According to WhoScored, Maddison took three shots and one was on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 73.3%, took 50 touches, made two tackles and one clearance, and put in five crosses.
So far this season, the 24-year-old has made 17 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leicester, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
According to WhoScored, the attacking midfielder has made three starts and two substitute appearances in the Europa League for the Foxes this campaign, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.
Mount plays with Maddison for the England national football team, and the Chelsea midfielder was impressed by his performance against Liverpool.
