Mason Holgate, signed on loan from Everton in the January transfer window, was in action for West Bromwich Albion against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
Everton-owned central defender Mason Holgate has taken to Instagram to express his delight at making his debut for West Bromwich Albion.
Holgate recently joined Championship club West Brom on loan from Premier League side Everton in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old central defender has moved to the Baggies on loan until the end of the season.
The youngster featured for West Brom in their 1-0 win against Wigan Athletic at The Hawthorns in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
Holgate has taken to Instagram to express his delight at starting the match and playing for the entire 90 minutes, with Darren Moore’s side winning the tie.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon, hosts West Brom had 55% of the possession, took 12 shots of which six were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
The Baggies will return to action next weekend when they take on Norwich City at The Hawthorns in the Championship.
