Rangers striker Martyn Waghorn has been linked with plenty of teams this week. The striker is entering the final year of his contract at Ibrox this summer and is being linked with moves to Leeds United, Huddersfield Town and, Premier League relegation fighters, Sunderland by the Daily Mail. He is also being linked with an unlikely move to Nottingham Forest, where he would join up with his former Rangers manager Mark Warburton.
On paper, of course he is attracting interest. He scored 28 goals in 36 games last season and has 15 in 31 this.
But the figures from this season, are they that impressive. Of his 15 goals this term only eight have been against top-flight opposition. Of those eight, five have oddly come against Hamilton, a team he clearly likes playing against, and who are bottom of the Scottish Premiership.
But the accusation from many Rangers fans, that Waghorn is a flat-track bully, is certainly fair.

If the club are offered a fee over £1 million for the player, especially as he enters into the final year of his contract, they would be mad not to accept based on this current information.
Just eight goals this season against Premiership teams, five of which are against the team who currently look like dropping out of the division.
Rangers should bite the hand off any team offering that money.
