The Ibrox striker has been linked with a January exit from Mark Warburton’s Glasgow Rangers.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers hitman Martyn Waghorn is a January target of Championship side Bristol City.
The 26-year-old has netted eight goals in all competitions for Rangers so far this season, though seven of these came in League Cup outings.
It has been a different story in the Premiership, netting just the once in five top-flight games after playing a huge role in helping the Gers win promotion last term.

In his defence, it has been an injury-hit campaign for the most part and he could be every bit the talismanic figure as he was in the Scottish Championship, providing he puts a run of games together.
Nevertheless, a move to Bristol is reportedly on the table for the Newcastle-born marksman, but his latest activity on social media suggests that he does not plan on leaving the Glasgow giants this winter.
On Saturday, Waghorn posted a photo of himself patting the crest after scoring a goal – an image specially created for him by a fan-made Rangers account.

Perhaps those with one eye on leaving Ibrox would not have posted such a picture unless they were committed to the cause, but time will tell.
Aside from a 36-year-old Kenny Miller, Gers have Joe Dodoo and Joe Garner as their back-ups in the event that Waghorn does indeed leave the club.
