The former Ibrox hero challenged the Rangers newbie to score in Glasgow.

Rangers took on Hibernian today in a big clash at the top of the Scottish Premiership table. For one Rangers player it was a game that would have held extra significance. Jason Cummings is currently on loan at the Glasgow club from Nottingham Forest, who he joined from Hibs in the summer.
He was a hero at Easter Road, scoring 71 goals in 150 games for the Edinburgh club before his switch to Forest but he struggled to cement a place at the City Ground and Rangers snapped him up last month.

Before the game he even got a good luck message from a player he once slugged it out with in the top scorer charts of the Scottish second tier. Martyn Waghorn, formerly of Rangers, used to score goals galore at Ibrox but is now playing his football at Ipswich Town. He does however still hold a soft spot for the club, as he showed in this tweet to Cummings before the game:
Unfortunately, he could not do as Waghorn wished. In fact, he barely got a chance. Cummings came on in the 71st minute of the game and could not find the scoresheet at Ibrox.
In the end it was a miserable day all around at the office, as his former side claimed a 2-1 win in Glasgow, much to the fans displeasure and the cheery smile of former Celtic boss Neil Lennon.
Cummings, who has opened his account for Rangers, certainly has some way to go before meeting Waghorn’s success at Ibrox.
