Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers came out on top in their match against Partick Thistle last night.

Martyn Waghorn has praised Jak Alnwick and Ross McCrorie for helping Glasgow Rangers progress to the Scottish League Cup semi-final last night.
Rangers needed extra-time to get past Partick Thistle, but ended up winning the contest 3-1.
Alnwick and McCrorie were two of the star performers for Rangers on the night.
And Waghorn, who left Rangers to join Ipswich Town last month, was pleased that his former side were able to get through to the next round of the cup competition.
Rangers took the lead against Partick when Carlos Pena headed home, and it looked as if the Mexican had done enough to put Pedro Caixinha’s side through.

However, in the last minute of normal time, Kris Doolan struck an equaliser for the hosts.
Rangers could have folded after this blow, but the Light Blues regrouped in extra time and sealed the victory after goals from Daniel Candeias and Eduardo Herrera.
