Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has posted a four-word message on Instagram after playing in the Europa League this evening.
Martinelli came on as a substitute for Emile Smith Rowe in the 81st minute of the Europa League Round of 16 second-leg tie against Olympiakos at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal lost the match 1-0, but Mikel Arteta’s side have progressed to the quarter-finals 3-2 on aggregate.
Martinelli, 19, is delighted that Arsenal have booked their place in the quarter-finals of the European competition.
Granit Xhaka also featured for Arsenal this evening, and while the Switzerland international is pleased that the Gunners have progressed to the quarter-finals, he is not happy with the result.
The 28-year-old has said that he and his teammates need to work harder if they are to win the Europa League this season.
The Gunners had done the hard work in the firstleg which they won 3-1, but they should have performed better in the second leg.
The draw for the Europa League quarter-finals will take place tomorrow, and it will be interesting to see who Arsenal get.
