Tottenham Hotspur and Denmark international ace Christian Eriksen is world class, says the Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill.

O’Neill made the comments ahead of the Republic of Ireland’s UEFA Nations League Group B4 game against Denmark away from home on Monday evening.
“World-class players can deal with situations and Eriksen is a world-class footballer, he will be hard to deal with,” O’Neill told The Daily Mail.
“I think that regardless of some sort of plans you might make, players can extricate themselves from those positions.
“We gave him a bit of space (in the play-off), particularly in the second half, which he exploited pretty well – he’s a top-class player.”

Tottenham Hotspur fans will agree
Eriksen is one of the best and most creative footballers in the Premier League, and Tottenham fans will agree with O’Neill’s comments that the 26-year-old attacking midfielder is world class.
The former Ajax star has been playing well for Tottenham so far this season and is arguably the best player in the current Denmark team.
The 26-year-old has provided two assists in 581 minutes of Premier League football for Spurs so far the season and has scored two goals in two matches for Denmark in the UEFA Nations League Group B, according to WhoScored.
During the 2017-18 campaign, Eriksen scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists in 37 Premier League appearances for Spurs, according to WhoScored.
