Aston Villa are currently in 17th place in the Championship table, after a poor run of form.

Martin O’Neill has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 23rd February, that Aston Villa need to give Steve Bruce time to put things right.
Bruce is under serious pressure at Villa Park, as the Midlands side have struggled in 2017.
Bruce sparked an immediate improvement after taking over from Roberto Di Matteo, but Villa have fallen back into their old bad habits this year.
The claret and blues have failed to win any of their competitive matches in 2017, despite a large investment in the January transfer window.
Sections of Villa fan base are now calling for Bruce to be sacked, but O’Neill believes that the former Hull boss will put things right.
“Villa can’t buy a win. I thought that when Steve went in their first of all, they were going to make the play offs. That looks unlikely now, but give him time and let him sort things out and give him next season,” the Republic of Ireland boss said.
Whether Bruce will be given next season remains to be seen, as Villa are currently looking nervously over their shoulders.
Villa have dropped down to 17th place in the Championship table, and they are just six points above the relegation zone.
Villa’s next match comes against Derby County at Villa Park on Saturday.
