The Newcastle United midfielder has spent the guts of two years on loan at Nottingham Forest.

Jack Colback’s Newcastle United career could be officially over ‘in the next few weeks’ according to The Northern Echo.
The Nottingham Post reported on the weekend that Nottingham Forest would sign him up on a permanent basis this summer.
Colback has enjoyed two season-long loan spells at Nottingham Forest, having not kicked a ball for Newcastle under Rafael Benitez in two years.
And it looks like Reds boss Martin O’Neill might be all for a permanent move.
The former Republic of Ireland manager said regarding Colback, as quoted by The Northern Echo: “I have a fairly decent idea in my mind of what we want to do.”
Getting rid of the 29-year-old makes total sense for Newcastle.
Colback is about to enter the final year of his Magpies contract [The Northern Echo]. This is a £50,000-a-week player [The Chronicle] so Benitez would free up some £2.6 million on the wage bill if O’Neill snaps him up.
