Norwich City defender Martin Olsson has said that he will not rush a decision regarding his future at the club.
Martin Olsson has been at Carrow Road for three years now following his move from Blackburn Rovers in 2013. During that time he has made a name for himself as a solid defender for the Canaries, however his future remains uncertain despite manager Alex Neil making it clear that the Swede is in his Championship plans. As reported by the Eastern Daily Press, Olsson stated during an interview with Viasat Sport that he will not rush the decision, but is open to leaving on a free transfer at the end of his contract.

The 28-year-old was speaking after he helped his national side Sweden to back-to-back World Cup qualifying victories over the last few days.
“During the summer, there was a club that was looking at me, but it did not happen,” he is quoted as saying by the Eastern Daily Press.
“I’m now instead focusing on Norwich so we’ll see what happens in January or in the summer. It may be that I go on a Bosman. We’ll see if they want to give me a new contract, but I have to think of myself as well. There may be no new contract, I will surely have several other clubs as options too.”

Following Norwich’s relegation from the Premier League he was initially linked with a move to West Ham United (Sky Sports), however the deal never came to fruition and now he will remain firmly focused on getting the Canaries back into the Premier League.
An early season hamstring injury threatened to derail his momentum, however he has been ever-present since then and will be hoping to feature this weekend when Norwich return to Championship action against Rotherham United.
His chances of staying at Carrow Road will surely increase if the Canaries earn promotion.
