In his Instagram story, the Norway international star posted a photo Elneny celebrating his goal with the caption ‘Shoooot@elnennym’.
It was followed by a ‘joy’ and a ‘clap’ emoji.
Elneny made eight starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal last season.
The defensive midfielder also made three appearances in the Carabao Cup for the Gunners last season.
