Real Madrid star Toni Kroos has sent a message to Martin Odegaard on Instagram following the latter’s transfer to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
What’s the story?
Earlier today, Arsenal announced on their official website that they have signed attacking midfielder Odegaard from Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Arsenal from Madrid.
The youngster has now made switch on a permanent contract.
According to Sky Sports, the Gunners have paid Spanish and European giants Madrid £30 million as transfer fee initially.

Odegaard has taken to Instagram to express his delight at making the move to Arsenal from Madrid.
The Norway international will wear the number 8 shirt at the Gunners.
Madrid midfielder Kroos wears number 8, and the 31-year-old, who has won the Champions League a total of four times in his career, has responded to Odegaard’s message.

Odegaard could not make a massive impact at Madrid, but the youngster did well during his loan spell at Arsenal.
The Norway international formed a good partnership with fellow attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, and Arsenal manager Arteta will hope that the two youngsters can flourish and grow together.
