Martin Ødegaard has been speaking to TV2 about his time at Arsenal, and he shared a brilliant answer when asked about one particular thing.

What’s the story?

Well, the Arsenal No.8 was asked what the dressing room is like at the Emirates Stadium, compared to at Real Madrid.

To be clear, TV2 were speaking in terms of the atmosphere inside the dressing room, although Ødegaard took the question a bit too literally.

The £30m man said: “It’s quite large, I would say. I think it’s a bit like that in the biggest clubs. It gets a little more scattered and all that.”

Clearly, Ødegaard thought TV2 were genuinely curious about the physical structure of the dressing room, instead of the atmosphere inside it!

Nevertheless, it was a great answer which certainly made us laugh, albeit one which didn’t provide TV2 with the desired information.

Martin Ødegaard has surely enriched the Arsenal dressing room

On the topic of Arsenal’s dressing room, we’re confident that Ødegaard’s arrival on a permanent basis has enriched it.

The 22-year-old is clearly a leader. He has been made captain of Norway despite his age, when Ståle Solbakken has more experienced names to opt for.

That speaks volumes.

Additionally, Ødegaard has already racked up 242 appearances throughout his career at just 22, so he’s seen plenty in football.

That experience, coupled with the fact he’s captain material, suggests he’s a big presence in Arsenal’s dressing room – we believe he is, anyway.

With plenty of time left in his career, who knows if Ødegaard will also go on to captain the Gunners one day – it’s definitely possible.
