Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard has praised Gunners supporters for the atmosphere generated against Liverpool last weekend.
The last two weekends have been enormous for Arsenal.
Sunday saw Arsenal smash West Ham United 6-0 away from home as Mikel Arteta’s men turned in a stunning display.
Just a week earlier, Arsenal produced a massive performance to beat Liverpool 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium, securing a huge victory in the Premier League title race.
Arsenal appear to be gaining momentum right now and captain Martin Odegaard has paid tribute to the Gunners fans…
Martin Odegaard praises Arsenal supporters
Arsenal supporters have been a key part of the rise under Arteta.
The atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium has been impressive for a while now and the connection between fans and players appears to be at a real high.
It’s no surprise that Manchester City and Liverpool – Arsenal’s two main title rivals – have both lost at the Emirates Stadium this season.
Big games have a special feeling right now and Odegaard has shown his appreciation for the Arsenal supporters.

Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, Odegaard has offered his ‘honest’ verdict on the atmosphere against Liverpool, branding it simply ‘incredible’.
Odegaard believes that Arsenal fans have been so important both last season and this season, with Arsenal now hoping to repay them with big results.
“The last game at home was an incredible atmosphere – maybe the best I’ve seen in my life, to be honest. The supporters have given us so much the whole season last year they’ve been there, and we want to keep giving them something back. Today was another good way to do that,” said Odegaard.
Sunday’s win over West Ham certainly fits into that with Arsenal not only serving up big results at home, but also on the road.
Arsenal now face two away games in a row with trips to Burnley and Porto on the horizon.
The next home game is against Newcastle United, and we can only imagine that the atmosphere will be incredible once again, given the recent tension between Arsenal and Newcastle in recent meetings.
Odegaard will be key to any victory hopes and the Gunners skipper will be desperate to deliver a Premier League title to the Arsenal supporters.
