Jim Beglin has praised Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard on Premier League Productions while watching him in action against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
The former Leeds United and Liverpool player believes that Odegaard was running things for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Villa away from home at Villa Park this afternoon.
Beglin said in the opening minutes of the second half: “Martin Odegaard is running things for Arsenal.
“At some point someone from Villa is going to have to get closer because he’s moving the ball around and knocking it about at pace. It’s been brilliant to watch.”

In our opinion, Odegaard played well for Arsenal and was a problem for the Villa players during his time on the pitch at Villa Park.
The former Real Madrid player played some lovely balls, and some of his passes were superb.
The 23-year-old took one shot which was not on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 97.8%, and took 50 touches.
Arsenal are doing well in the Premier League at the moment and are in the running for the Champions League places.
For Mikel Arteta’s side to be successful in that quest, in our view, Odegaard will have to be on top of his game in the final weeks and months.
Maybe, just maybe, Odegaard could end up becoming even better than Mesut Ozil.
