Tyrone Mings, on loan from Bournemouth, played well for Aston Villa against Blackburn Rovers at the weekend.

Laursen was impressed with the performance of Mings for Villa in their Championship game against Blackburn Rovers at Villa Park at the weekend.
The 26-year-old defender, signed on loan from Premier League club Bournemouth in the January transfer window, played well for the Villans in their 2-1 victory over Blackburn this past Saturday afternoon and scored what proved to be the winning goal.
According to WhoScored, against Rovers, the former Ipswich Town defender had a pass accuracy of 82.9%, won three headers, and made one tackle, four clearances and two blocks.
Mings has made 10 appearances in the Championship for Villa since his loan move from Bournemouth in the January transfer window, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Former Villa defender Laursen was at the match, and he was impressed with Mings and has spoken highly of the 26-year-old.

Laursen told The Birmingham Mail about Mings: “I said to him he can have a great future, if he continues like this. He can do whatever he wants.
“He’s strong, quick, good with his feet and a good header of the ball as well. He’s got everything. I’m very impressed. I hadn’t seen much of him before but I had heard a lot about him.
“He has played a lot of good games. Now I have seen him live, he’s massive and a good left-foot. It’s a nice to have a centre-half with a left foot. He’s quick as well and that is important.”
Villa are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with 60 points from 39 matches.
