Martin Keown thinks Liverpool 28-year-old is ‘world class again’

Martin Keown said on talkSPORT (11:56am, February 19, 2021) that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is back to being world class again.

The Arsenal legend, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, has been impressed by Salah’s recent form for Liverpool.

Keown said about Salah on talkSPORT (11:56am, February 19, 2021): “I think Salah is, we are talking a lot here about one player, but Salah is just now coming back into (his own). He is world class again, isn’t he?”

Mohamed Salah is world class

Salah is scoring goals regularly now, and even though Liverpool have not been particular great in the Premier League in recent times, the 28-year-old is hitting the back of the net.

According to WhoScored, the Egypt international forward has made 21 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Reds so far this season, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists in the process.

Salah has also made six starts and one substitute appearance in the Champions League for the defending English champions so far this campaign, scoring four goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

For Liverpool to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and win the Champions League, Salah will have to be on top of his game in the coming weeks and months.
