Martin Keown said on talkSPORT (12:09pm, October 2, 2020) that Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford is not getting enough credit.

The Arsenal legend, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, has been impressed with how Bamford has performed for Leeds so far this season.

Keown said on talkSPORT (12:09pm, October 2, 2020) while discussing Leeds: “Patrick Bamford as well not nearly getting enough credit for what he is doing.”

Patrick Bamford Stats

According to WhoScored, Bamford has scored three goals and provided one assist in three Premier League matches for Leeds so far this season.

During the 2019-20 campaign, the former Chelsea and Nottingham Forest striker scored 16 goals and provided two assists in 45 Championship matches for the Whites, according to WhoScored.

Back in 2018-19, the 27-year-old made 16 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Championship for the West Yorkshire club, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Important player for Leeds United

Bamford is a very good striker who works hard for the team and presses the opposition defence.

The striker does more than just score goals, and there is no surprise that he is such an important player for the current Leeds team, who will face Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
