Tottenham Hotspur are looking to win their first top flight title since 1961.

Martin Keown suggested that Tottenham can win the the Premier League title this season, when speaking exclusively to talkSPORT.
Spurs finished a distant 27 points adrift of league winners Manchester City in the table last season, but Mauricio Pochettino has significantly strengthened his options this summer.
Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon have all arrived in north London, with Jack Clarke set to move after spending this season on loan with previous club Leeds United.
Tottenham showed glimpses of what they are capable during their opening day win against Aston Villa, beating Dean Smith’s side 3-1 on Saturday.
And Keown suggested that Spurs have every chance of winning the league this season, when speaking exclusively to talkSPORT:

“Our neighbours just down the road, Tottenham, listen they never had a home last season, they had nine players involved in the latter stages of the World Cup and they made it to a Champions League final. Why can’t they win the league? They will be thinking that now they’ve bought players, last season they didn’t buy anyone.”
Tottenham proved last season that, on their day, they are more than capable of mixing it with the very best sides in Europe.
And they have undoubtedly improved the quality of their squad as a whole this summer. So, as Keown says…why can’t Spurs win the league this season?
