Could Arsenal and Celtic face each other in the Europa League this season?

Scottish Premiership giants Celtic have dropped to the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group.
Premier League powerhouse Arsenal finished top of their group in the Europa League, having failed to qualify for the 2017-18 Champions League campaign.

Arsenal legend Keown, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport and BT Sport, has suggested that he wants his former club to face Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic in the Europa League.
“Napoli are a decent side, Celtic, I would love to see them play, maybe against Arsenal,” The Express quotes Keown as saying.
“I think just for the credibility of their own Scottish division, they need Celtic to do well. They didn’t do well in the Champions League.”

Arsenal against Chelsea would be a massive fixture, but it would also decimate the Hoops’ chances of progressing too far in the Europa League.
While playing against the Gunners at Celtic Park and at the Emirates Stadium would be glamorous, for Celtic to make an impact in the competition, they should hope that they get an easier draw and face teams that they can realistically beat.
