Martin Keown said on talkSPORT (10:55am, November 20, 2020) that Son Heung-min has been a revelation for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The Arsenal legend has been impressed by the performances of South Korea international forward, who cost Tottenham £22 million in transfer fee when they signed him Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015, as reported by The Guardian.
Keown has also said that Tottenham will not win the Premier League title this season despite their results in recent weeks.
The Englishman said on talkSPORT (10:55am, November 20, 2020): “Son has been a revelation this season.”
Keown added: “It’s going well for Spurs, but I don’t think they are going to win the Premier League.”
In form
Son has been superb for Tottenham over the years and is a consistent figure in the team.
The South Korea international is playing well at the moment. The 28-year-old has scored eight goals and provided two assists in eight Premier League matches and has scored one goal and provided one assist in 102 Europa League games for Spurs so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Title challenge
Tottenham are just a point behind leaders Leicester City in the Premier League table at the moment and are in good form.
While the main objective for Spurs this season has to be to finish in the Champions League places, they could end up challenging for the title if they continue to pick up wins in the coming weeks.
