Manchester City and Liverpool will face each other at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown has predicted in The Daily Mail that Manchester City will win against Liverpool at home this weekend.

City will take on Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Former Arsenal star Keown has backed Pep Guardiola’s side to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 2-1 victory.

“Home advantage will be key, and I can see City isolating Liverpool’s defenders in a way Arsenal could not,” Keown wrote in The Daily Mail. “City to win 2-1.”

Liverpool have made a good start to the season and are playing well at the moment.

The Reds have picked up seven points from three Premier League matches so far this season, as many as City have.

Jurgen Klopp’s side blew away Arsenal 4-0 at Anfield in the league last month, but it is going to be hard to repeat that performance against City at the Etihad Stadium.

Not only do City have home advantage, but the Citizens also have a much better team.

However, if Liverpool get an early goal, then it could make it tough for City, who may not then pick up all three points from the match.
