Tottenham Hotspur are right in the mix in the race for the Premier League title.

Martin Keown suggested that Tottenham are still very much in the race for the Premier League title, when writing his Tackle Keown column for the Daily Mail, highlighting how Liverpool and Manchester City are under more pressure than Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

Spurs currently sit in third spot in the Premier League table, five points adrift of league leaders Manchester City and second placed Liverpool, although they do have a game in hand on Pep Guardiola’s side.

Tottenham continue to fly under the radar, and it really has been quite incredible how they have managed to hang onto the coattails of the top two over this past month without Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

Keown praised Spurs’ never say die attitude, when writing his Tackle Keown column for the Daily Mail, and suggested that they have every chance of ending their 58-year wait for a top flight title:

“Tottenham seem not to know when they are beaten. When Liverpool or Manchester City drop points, it is seen as a blow to their title hopes. Spurs are not under the same pressure… and that is keeping them very much in this race.”

Tottenham face three vitally important games over the next few weeks, with away trips to Burnley and Chelsea followed by a home game against Arsenal, and if they are to remain in the title race, they must be targeting at least seven points from those outings.

And Pochettino’s men are more than capable fo doing just that.
