The Tottenham Hotspur forward is in excellent form.
Speaking to The Mail, Martin Keown has hailed the improvement of Tottenham Hotspur hitman Son Heung-min.
The 24-year-old endured an indifferent first season at Tottenham following a £21.9 million switch from Bayer Leverkusen, netting four Premier League goals.
But the South Korean forward has already equalled his total in only six games this season, scoring braces in wins at Stoke City and Middlesbrough in recent weeks.
This season, Son looks a man reborn and his goals have helped Spurs cope in the absence of Harry Kane, who is out injured with an ankle problem.
And Keown has acknowledged his improvement during a chat with The Mail.
He said: “Son Heung-min has come on really well and is taking his opportunity. It shows there has been good work in training.”
The big thing for Son is consistency. He showed glimpses of his potential last season but it did not come on a regular basis.
He looks to have solved that this season, and also scored the winner in their Champions League win at Moscow last week, but he cannot rest on his laurels. There is a bit to go before he vindicates the money that was spent on him.
