Tottenham Hotspur have proven many people wrong this season.

Martin Keown shared his belief that Tottenham need to spend in January, if they are to go on and win the Premier League title this season, when speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, suggesting that Mauricio Pochettino needs to add more strength in depth to his options.
Spurs have been quite simply brilliant this season, and currently sit in second spot in the Premier League table, just six options adrift of league leaders Liverpool.
Pochettino failed to sign a single player during the summer transfer window but, incredibly, it seems as though Tottenham have actually improved as a team.
Keown, though, told the Daily Mail, how Tottenham must strengthen next month, responding when asked if Poch needs to bring some new blood into the club:

“I think they do. Son Heung-min has been outstanding this season but will travel to the Asian Cup after Tottenham’s clash with Manchester United on January 13. Spurs felt his absence when he was away with South Korea in August and he will be a huge loss to them again.”
Tottenham have a such a strong first XI that it is hard to envisage were they could actually strengthen.
Perhaps the most important thing for Pochettino will be to add more depth to his ranks, but quite who the Argentine has in mind, remains to be seen.
