Christian Eriksen is out of contract at Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season.

Eriksen is out of contract at Tottenham at the end of the season, and, as things stand, the 27-year-old will leave the North London outfit on a free transfer next summer.
Former Spurs manager Jol has said that he spoke to the North London club’s chairman Levy about the Denmark international attacking midfielder two months ago, and told him not to sell him.
Jol told talkSPORT: “I don’t know what happened; I think he wants to go. I said to Daniel a couple of months ago when we were at the Ajax game in Amsterdam, ‘you should keep him!’
“But if he doesn’t want to stay you have to get on with the job with a new team with [Giovani] Lo Celso and hopefully he is the guy who can do that.
“I would play Christian all the time, even if he is going, because I want to play my strongest team.”

Tottenham Hotspur stay
Eriksen is one of the best and most creative midfielders in Europe, and him staying at Tottenham this season is certainly great for the North London outfit.
After all, Spurs are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and are also challenging for a place in the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
According to WhoScored, the Dane has scored one goal and provided one assist in seven Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far this season.
