Ryan Christie scored for Neil Lennon’s Celtic in the Europa League on Thursday.

Celtic fan and well-known actor Martin Compston has suggested on Twitter that the Scottish Premiership giants should offer Ryan Christie a 20-year contract.
Compston, who is known for his role in Line of Duty and is a Celtic fan, made the suggestion following Christie’s heroics in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The 24-year-old midfielder scored from the penalty spot for the Hoops in the 59th minute of the Europa League Group E game against Rennes away from home in France.
It was the equaliser, as Celtic played out a 1-1 draw with Rennes, and Compston was impressed with the Scotland international midfielder.
Important player for Celtic
Christie has developed into a very important player for Celtic since his return to the Hoops from loan spells at Aberdeen.
The midfielder is now one of the first names on the Glasgow giants’ teamsheet, and he does score some very important goals.
According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has scored four goals in five Scottish Premiership appearances for Celtic so far this season.
