Harry Kane has continued to be linked with a move to the Spanish capital.

Tottenham legend Martin Chivers has told the Daily Mail that Harry Kane should ignore reported interest from Real Madrid because of Gareth Bale’s current situation.
Kane, 24, is likely to be on the Galacticos radar once again in the summer transfer window, after scoring 35 goals in 36 games for the north Londoners this season.
He is the front runner in the race to win the Premier League’s golden boot, after winning the accolade for the past two seasons and it comes as no surprise that Zinedine Zidane’s side want to raid Tottenham once again.

However, Chivers believes Kane should take a look at former Spurs teammate Bale, claiming the Welsh winger wants to go home after a tumultuous five years in the Spanish capital after moving to Real in 2013.
“They can speculate about him getting more money by going abroad but if I was Harry, a mentor for Harry, I’d say think about going abroad. It’s not as easy as everybody thinks,” Chivers said.
‘We’ve seen Gareth Bale go over to Spain and there’s speculation about him coming back.
“I managed it because I could speak a language. This is a big problem. ‘I just think, I hope, Harry is the sort that thinks, “I’ll take a little bit less than I could be getting abroad and take it with Tottenham and have a fantastic life”.”

It remains to be seen if Spurs can keep Kane beyond the summer window, with the Mail also reporting that Spurs are looking to smash their current wage structure by increasing their number 10’s wages from £110,000 to £200,000 a week.
Kane is expected to start against newly-promoted Huddersfield on Saturday at Wembley as he looks to add to his goalscoring tally, before facing Juventus in the second leg of their Round of 16 Champions League tie on Wednesday.
