Greg Docherty has been continually linked with a move to Ibrox, Rangers are said to have made two bids.

Hamilton manager Martin Canning has told the Daily Record that he believes Rangers transfer target Greg Docherty is at a similar level to Premier League midfielder and ex-Hamilton stars James McCarthy and James McArthur.
STV claim Rangers have made a second offer worth £500,000 to sign playmaker Docherty from Hamilton, with the 21-year-old’s future being spoken about regularly in the Scottish press.
Docherty has shone this season for the Accies, scoring three goals and adding six assists in a side where chances are at a premium. He has also shown versatility, starting in the number 10 role, deeper in midfield and out wide.
Despite Rangers reported second offer after a £350,000 bid was rejected, Canning did not rule out the sale of Docherty before comparing the youngster to two former Hamilton academy products in 27-year-old McCarthy and Scotland international McArthur.
“He’s as good as those two, particularly James McArthur,” Canning said. “He’s a similar type with his strength and power. So he’s definitely on par with those two and can kick-on again.
“But Greg has two and a half years left on his contract. He’s a Hamilton player. He’s been well looked after here since he was eight or nine.
“Yeah, this is an opportunity for him to go to a big club but it has to be right for Hamilton first and foremost.”

Republic of Ireland international McCarthy suffered a brutal double leg break on Saturday afternoon while turning out for Everton against West Brom, while McArthur continues to be an underrated star in Crystal Palace’s fight against the drop.
Rangers have already completed a number of signing this month but could be on the lookout for a new number 10 after letting Carlos Pena join Cruz Azul for a year, while Graham Dorrans remains sidelined with an ankle injury.
