Barcelona have endured a difficult time under Ronald Koeman, but picked up a vital win on Tuesday night.

The Catalan giants travelled away to Dynamo Kiev for a key Champions League meeting, and claimed a thumping 4-0 win.

It took them a while to find the opener as Sergino Dest scored in the 52nd minute, but Martin Braithwate added a brace before Antoine Griezmann rounded off the win.

Koeman will hope that this eases some of the pressure on him, and Braithwaite will have been delighted to take his chance.

It’s still somewhat bizarre to see the Danish striker turning out for Barca not all that long since he flopped at Middlesbrough, but he started in a rotated side last night.

Braithwaite took his chance with a couple of goals, and may just tempt Koeman into keeping him at least for the second half of the season.

Just last week, SPORT reported that West Ham United and Leeds United both want to sign Braithwaite in January, with Barca keen to offload him.

If West Ham and Leeds were watching last night, they may well have been impressed – but also been left concerned that he may end up staying at the Camp Nou.
