Middlesbrough are sitting in a precarious position in the Premier League table.
Middlesbrough summer signing Marten de Roon has warned his teammate that they must keep up their intensity for the full 90 minutes throughout games, if they are to avoid relegation trouble this season, when speaking to reporters, and quoted via the club’s official website.
The Dutchman made the move to the Riverside Stadium from Italian side Atalanta in July, for a fee believed to be in the region of £12 million, and he has gone on to make 17 Premier League appearances for Aitor Karanka’s men, despite suffering a hamstring injury during his debut for Boro.

And the 25-year-old spoke to the media about his side’s current situation, and how they have played well on the whole, but not for the entirety of their games, which has proved to be costly for them, as quoted by Player.MFC.co.uk:
“I’m happy that we can show every time we can play very well. Now we have to start to do it from the beginning until the end instead of only 45 or 60 minutes.”
The Teessiders currently sit in 16th position in the Premier League table, just four points clear of the relegation zone.

They face three crucial fixtures over the next few weeks, with a trip to Watford followed by back-to-back home games against West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion respectively.
And Karanka will be looking to guide his side to a return of at least six points from those fixtures, as they look to break clear of relegation trouble.
