West Ham United have been linked with both Yaya Toure and Marouane Fellaini.

Marseille could be about to inflict further pain on West Ham United, just 18 months after they took Dimitri Payet from the London club.

West Ham fans were left gutted when Payet departed to return to his homeland back in 2017.

But Marseille could be back to disrupt West Ham’s plans again this summer.

The Telegraph claim that Yaya Toure and Marouane Fellaini are both on West Ham’s wishlist this summer.

However, the Daily Mail have reported how Marseille also want the experienced pair of midfielders.

If Marseille do come in for Toure and Fellaini they could be an appealing club to join, and that makes West Ham’s task of getting deals over the line for the duo tougher.

Manuel Pellegrini has made strengthening West Ham’s midfield one of his top priorities, and he won’t want to miss out on his first choice targets.

And while getting beaten to Toure and Fellaini would not sting West Ham fans as much as Payet’s departure did, it could be another reason for Hammers fans to feel annoyance towards Marseille.
