The Spurs goalkeeper was in good form against Monaco in midweek.
Tottenham Hotspur were dumped out of the Champions League this week, losing 2-1 to Monaco in the principality.
The scoreline was however somewhat flattering to Spurs. They struggled against the Ligue 1 side, who put in a dominant display at home.
Their captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris kept them in the game at times, making several impressive saves, including one from a Radamel Falcao penalty.

Indeed it is the theory of one French manager that, without Lloris, Spurs would have been in much deeper trouble.
Rudi Garcia takes his Marseille side into battle against Monaco this weekend in a big Ligue 1 clash.
Speaking to L’Equipe ahead of the clash with Spurs he made it clear that he felt Spurs could have been on the end of a thrashing were it not for the Frenchman:
Rudi Garcia
“We want to take points at Monaco, we know that it will be difficult. For me this is the best team in the championship right now. If there had not been a great Hugo Lloris, Tottenham would have taken the usual result, this is Monaco scoring three goals per game.”
It was certainly not the best of performances from Spurs this week and Lloris yet again put in a fantastic performance.

He has been in great form this season, coming to the fore as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Tottenham will however hope he is less busy when they take on Chelsea this weekend.
