Leeds United face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon in a game that isn’t anywhere near as important as it could have been for the Whites.

Indeed, Leeds very easily could have been bottom of the league heading into this game, but after an unlikely win against Liverpool and an against-the-odds comeback against Bournemouth last weekend, Leeds are, all of a sudden, looking up the table.

A win against Spurs would be the icing on the cake, and the Whites will be headed to north London with every chance of getting three points here after a rotten run of form from the north London side.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Jesse Marsch’s starting XI for this one.

We think that Jesse Marsch will make nine changes from the team that lost to Wolves in the cup in midweek.

The back five returns to the status quo as only Luke Ayling retains his place from the loss to Wolves.

Marc Roca and Tyler Adams once again start in the middle of the park as they have done so often this season.

Leeds are struggling with attacking injuries, so Crysencio Summerville starts once again on the wing, while Jack Harrison is risked despite being described as ‘questionable’ in Marsch’s pre-match press conference.

Yes, Harrison isn’t 100 per cent here, but with a six-week World Cup break on the horizon, this is definitely a time to risk a player in this sort of situation.

Brendan Aaronson starts in his preferred number 10 role, while Rodrigo leads the line.
