Manuel Pellegrini has got off to an inconsistent start with West Ham.

Marlon Harewood has told Love Sport Radio that West Ham United need to sign a new striker in the January transfer window – as well as keeping Marko Arnautovic.
Arnautovic, 29, has been linked repeatedly with a move to Manchester United and is said to be valued at an enormous £50million as he continues to shine for the east Londoners.
The Austrian forward played under Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan for a brief period, and has scored five goals in 10 Premier League appearances under Manuel Pellegrini this season.
Harewood believes keeping the versatile forward is paramount but reckons signing a striker to rival the likes of Arnautovic and Andy Carroll should be the Hammers’ top target in the January transfer window.
“It’s keeping hold of the good players,” Harewood said. “I think they’ve bought really well. But it’s keeping them because they are top-class players. Clubs are going to go out and look to better their squads.
“Arnautovic needs some help, perhaps another striker. But Andy Carroll is back fit and that will be a massive boost for the lads. Another striker to put pressure on the lads and keep them doing well.”

Arnautovic addressed the rumours surrounding his future, perhaps keeping the door ajar over a move, by telling Sky Sports: “I don’t want to talk about it. I am concentrated on West Ham.”
West Ham also boast Javier Hernandez and Michail Antonio as options up front, but the duo have also been linked with moves elsewhere ahead of the January transfer window.
