Leeds United central defender Pontus Jansson supported his former club Malmo FF against Chelsea on Thursday.

Malmo FF forward Markus Rosenberg has sent a heartfelt message to his club’s fans and to Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson on Twitter and Instagram.
Rosenberg was touched by the support the Malmo fans and the 28-year-old Sweden international central defender gave his team against Chelsea in London on Thursday evening.
Jansson, who is one of the best players for Leeds and is hugely popular among the Elland Road faithful, linked up with a group of Malmo fans ahead of the Swedish club’s Europa League Round of 32 second-leg tie against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
As reported in The Daily Mail, the former Torino ace sang with the Malmo fans, and his support for the team was clear for everyone to see.

Malmo forward Rosenberg has praised the club’s fans and Jansson on Twitter and Instagram for the support they showed for the team.
Jansson joined Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Torino in the summer of 2016 and made the move permanent in the summer of 2017 for a fee reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post to be worth £3.5 million.

The Swede started his professional club football career at Malmo, and was on the books of the Swedish club from 2006 until 2014.
Rosenberg’s message to the Malmo fan reads, when translated from Swedish: “Yesterday we will remember forever. Not for what happened on the pitch, but for what happened in the stands. You were absolutely magical. With @ pontusjansson.18 at the forefront. You make everything possible for us. Thanks for another European trip.”
