Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson started his professional club football career at Malmo FF.

According to Expressen, Leeds defender Jansson and attacker Pawel Cibicki celebrated Malmo’s Allsvenskan triumph via a video link.
Both the Leeds players came through Malmo’s youth academy and also played for the Swedish club’s first team.
It has been reported that the duo celebrated with the Malmo players their latest league triumph via a video link, but it did not last long as the video link lost connection.

“I did not hear anything, he probably did not hear me either,” Rosenberg jokingly told Expressen, as translated by Sport Witness, about Jansson.
“It was him and Pawel anyway. I asked how many SM gold he had, and maybe that’s why he disappeared.”

Rosenberg is 35 years of age and has played for Ajax and West Bromwich Albion among other clubs, while 26-year-old Jansson cost Leeds £3.5 million in transfer fees – as reported by The Yorkshire Evening Post – when they make his loan deal from Torino permanent in the summer of 2017.
Jansson is one of the best centre-backs in the Championship and is a key figure in the current Leeds team, who are aiming to clinch a playoff spot this season.
