The Liverpool winger has been linked with a move to Swansea City.

Swansea City are aiming to bolster their squad before the transfer window closes, with Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic one of the players that they have under consideration.
Markovic has been frozen out at Liverpool to the extent that he hasn’t made a single first-team appearance this season, and Swansea want to sign the 23-year-old either permanently or on loan, as reported by Sky Sports.

When he is at his best Markovic is capable of causing problems for opposing defenders with his directness and trickery, but he often lacks consistency and what Swansea require in their current predicament is a proven Premier League performer.
Since joining Liverpool in 2014 and taking into account his loan spell with Hull City last season, Markovic has made 31 Premier League appearances, during which time he has scored just four times and has assisted once.

Swansea are bottom of the Premier League table having gained just 20 points this campaign and they certainly need to improve their squad, but it is questionable whether Markovic, who can appear an impressive player one moment and underwhelming the next, is the right player for them to pursue in these circumstances.
