Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is on the verge of joining FC Porto, according to O Jogo and Record.
What’s the story?
Record are reporting that Grujic left Liverpool’s training camp in Austria on a private flight last night.
The Serbia international midfielder landed in Porto and will sign a one-year loan deal with the option to make it permanent.
O Jogo are claiming that the 25-year-old landed at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport shortly after 11pm local time.
Sensible move?
Grujic spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Porto from Liverpool.
The Serbia international made nine starts and 14 substitute appearances in the league.
The 25-year-old scored two goals in those games.
Grujic also made four starts and four substitute appearances in the Champions League last season.

The midfielder has been at Liverpool since 2016, but he has yet to establish himself in the first team.
It makes sense that the Serbian is going back to Porto.
Grujic is likely to get more regular playing time at the Portuguese giants.
There is no point in the midfielder staying at Liverpool and warming the substitutes’ bench.
Porto will be aiming to win the Portuguese league next season and will also play in the Champions League.
