Rangers fans would take Celtic midfielder Scott Brown at Ibrox, says former Hoops star Mark Wilson.

The former Celtic defender believes that Brown epitomises everything that Ibrox club Rangers have been missing.
The 33-year-old former Scotland international right-back played with Brown at Celtic, and the ex-Dundee United star believes that Rangers fans would take the 32-year-old.

Wilson told The Scottish Sun: “I always hear Rangers fans saying how much they hate Scott Brown. But it would be different if they knew him.
“He epitomises everything that Rangers have been missing — fight, desire, leadership . . . in fact, he’s got everything they’ve been needing.
“That is probably why they don’t like him — but they would take him in a minute. I don’t think Scott would be too quick to go, though!”

Quality footballer
Brown is one of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership and has been superb for Celtic this season.
The former Scotland international midfielder has been on the books of the Hoops since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million.
A very combative midfielder who does not shy away from challenges and is very passionate on the football pitch, the 32-year-old has won the league title in Scotland eight times, the Scottish Cup thrice, and the Scottish League Cup on four occasions.
