Mark Warburton, now in charge of Queens Park Rangers, is a former manager of Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers.
Mark Warburton at Rangers
Warburton, who has recently been appointed the QPR manager, was in charge of Ibrox club Rangers from the summer of 2015 until February 2017.
The former Nottingham Forest boss has said that he plans to replicate the relationship he had with the fans at Rangers during his time at QPR.
Warburton has also said that the problem he faced while he was the manager of Rangers was playing catch-up to Celtic.
Warburton said on talkSPORT: “Fans want to be seeing behind-the-scenes content and have an insight into the type of stuff we do.
“Who is the analyst and what does he get up to or a daily basis? What does the masseuse do? Show the fans a level of detail that the players are privy to.
“We did it at Rangers and they absolutely loved it. The connection between the players and the fans there was brilliant. If you can do that the right way, it can only be beneficial to the club.”
The former Rangers and Forest manager added: “The problem with managing a club Rangers is that you’re always going to be judged on the gap between Celtic and them.
“When Celtic were on the run they were on at the time with Brendan Rodgers, it’s extremely tough to match that.”

Good managerial appointment
Warburton is a very good manager, and he was successful during his time at Brentford and Rangers.
QPR are unlikely to push for the Championship playoffs next season, and 2019-20 will be about building for the future.
Warburton is good with young players, and he could build a young and vibrant team at Loftus Road that could be successful in years to come.
As for Rangers, the Gers have progressed a lot under manager Steven Gerrard and have finished second in the Scottish Premiership table this season.
