Glasgow Rangers are currently in second place in the Scottish Premiership table.
Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has told the Glasgow Evening Times that he becomes frustrated as manager of the Ibrox side at times because his side do not get the credit that they deserve.
Rangers have been criticised for their start to the season, yet they still sit in second place in the Scottish Premiership table.
Rangers have one of the longest unbeaten home records in British football, and Warburton is annoyed when he hears his side’s form being criticised.
“I am accused of picking up on the negatives but we have won five out of seven, we are unbeaten in 32 games at home,” Warburton said.
“I read about how our wretched home form continues with a 1-1 draw. We are unbeaten in 32.
“Nobody mentions those stats. I do get frustrated by it because I think the players deserve a bit more.”
The pressure on Rangers stems from the fact that they have fallen so far behind Celtic already.
Rangers were expected to challenge the Bhoys on their return to the top flight, but they have been left behind by their rivals.
Celtic are eight points ahead of Rangers, and they have two games in hand over Warburton’s side.
Rangers are next in action against Hearts at Tynecastle this evening, in what looks set to be a tough test for the Light Blues.
