Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have completed two new signings so far this month.

Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has not ruled out the potential for more new arrivals at Ibrox this month, as per his comments on the club’s official website.

Rangers have brought in two new players in the January transfer window so far, with Jon Toral and Emerson Hyndman joining on loan from Arsenal and Bournemouth respectively.

But Warburton would like to further strengthen his squad should the opportunity arise.

“Will we sign anyone else? Possibly,” he said. “If we can get the right one then we will move but the right ones are few and far between.

“We were delighted to get Jon and Emerson on board and you saw at the weekend that they have settled in well and we’re looking forward to their development.

“But if one more becomes available then we will make that move. You’ll find out in which position when it comes to it!”

When asked if Rangers could also look to offload some of their fringe players, Warburton responded: “Whether anyone goes out depends. You never ever know in the market but right now no.”

Rangers have began to find some rhythm after a slow start to the season.

Warburton’s side are currently 19 points behind Celtic, and have little chance of claiming the title, but the Light Blues are still eager to close the gap.

Rangers are looking to improve now, with one eye on making sure they are more competitive in the title race next term.

Warburton’s men are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Motherwell in the Scottish Cup.
