Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a brilliant player in Josh Windass.

Josh Windass of Rangers has a shot on goal during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers FC and Celtic FC at Ibrox Stadium on April 29, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Mark Warburton has told Sky Sports News that there is plenty more to come from Josh Windass.

The 24-year-old playmaker has arguably been Rangers’ Player of the Year and looks bang in form at the moment.

Windass, brought to Ibrox by Warburton in 2016, has netted 11 goals in his last 10 games for the Gers across all competitions, earning himself a contract extension in the process.

But the former Rangers manager, who was sacked 12 months ago, claims that the former Accrington ace will only get better and better.

He told Sky Sports: “He’s a goalscorer, he has good technique, confidence is very high, mistakes don’t bother him which is a nice attribute to have and physically he’s strong, quick and loads of potential.

Josh Windass of Rangers scores his sides first goal during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox Stadium on March 11, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

“There’s loads more to come from Josh Windass, just give the boy time but he’s responding well to what is a red hot environment up in Glasgow.”

Graeme Murty deserves huge credit for Windass’s form this season.

When he took over from axed Pedro Caixinha on a part-time basis, Windass was struggling for form and confidence from a left-wing role.

But Murty has been playing the English star as a number 10 since taking over and the results are clear for all to see.
