Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are closing in on a deal for Leicester City forward Joe Dodoo.

Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has told the Daily Express that he is hoping to have a deal for Leicester City striker Joe Dodoo tied up by Tuesday.
Dodoo has been training with Rangers for over a week now, and his performances have impressed.

A series of Rangers’ first-team squad have come out and publicly suggested that they would like to see the rapid forward sign up for the long-term.
And Warburton appears to be confident that he will be able to get a deal over the line for Dodoo in the coming days.
“There’s some paperwork going on,” he said. “If we can get that completed, it will be a good one for us and I would like to involve him on Tuesday.”

Rangers have targeted Dodoo, as Warburton looks to put the finishing touches on his squad for the upcoming season.
Rangers have already brought in eight new players this summer, but they will want to bring another centre-back and a striker to Ibrox before the close of the summer transfer window.
Dodoo’s main experience of first-team football has come while he was out on loan at Bury to date, but he has impressed when being handed a chance in Leicester’s senior squad – and did score a hat-trick in the League Cup last term.
If Dodoo does move to Rangers it is not yet clear whether it would be on a loan or a permanent deal.
