Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten 5-1 by Celtic in their last match.

Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton has praised Josh Windass, Wes Foderingham and Kenny Miller for their performances during the Ibrox side’s heavy defeat against Celtic, as per Rangers’ official website.
Rangers were beaten 5-1 at Parkhead in their most recent outing, in what was a humbling defeat for Warburton’s newly promoted side.
Celtic dominated for much of the contest, but Warburton was able to pick up three Rangers players who deserved some credit.

“I don’t want everyone to be turning round to Rangers fans who pay good money and say there are positives – that will irk straight away.
“Josh Windass came in after a five or six week lay-off with a hamstring issue and showed his running power, showed his desire and willingness to get forward and caused problems – there is no doubt about that.

“Kenny too – he was inappropriately in our view asked to do a wing-back job but again worked tirelessly, likewise Wes Foderingham, he worked so hard and his distribution was good and positive, he collected the ball from crosses nice and brightly and confidently, so there were positives but you loathe to say that for obvious reasons.”
Despite Warburton’s positive stance, there are question marks being asked about the quality of Rangers’ squad following their heavy defeat.
Celtic looked the superior side for the entirety of the contest, and the scoreline reflected their dominance.
Rangers are now four points behind their Glasgow rivals already, and Celtic have a game in hand.
Rangers are next in action against Ross County at the weekend, and they will be eager to pick up the three points to put the disappointment of the Old Firm derby behind them.
