Rangers and Celtic often get linked with the same players, with agents no doubt loving to pit the Old Firm rivals against each other.

One such player right now is Bright Osayi-Samuel, with the Queens Park Rangers winger able to sign a pre-contract agreement from this month.

Osayi-Samuel is out of contract in the summer, and can now negotiate a pre-contract deal with a non-English club ahead of leaving for free.

The Nigerian winger has hit five goals and nine assists this season, continuing to shine in the Championship with his pace and dribbling ability.

At just 23, Osayi-Samuel has huge potential for the future, and The Athletic noted at the end of December that Celtic and Rangers are leading the race.

Both sides could stand to add a new winger either this month or at the end of the season, and Celtic have a secret weapon in ex-QPR man Gary Penrice.

Now, QPR boss Mark Warburton has told West London Sport that he hopes Osayi-Samuel has got a ‘good passport’ if he’s to be joining Celtic, Rangers and Fenerbahce all at once.

Warburton laughed off the rumours, and is merely focusing on Osayi-Samuel’s performances rather than the notion of him heading to Glasgow.

“Apparently he’s going to Celtic and Fenerbahce and Rangers as well. I hope he’s got a good passport,” said Warburton “It’s all rumours and it keeps the media going. My only concern is Bright working hard, training well and performing well,” he added.
